Day 3

  • Application of the systematic method
  • Determining area of fire origin
  • Determining the point of cause and origin of the fire
  • Hands on investigation of previously burned vehicles. Each vehicle fire will have a different origin and cause
  • Review and discussion of the day's investigations

 

Seminar Description

This seminar focuses on the techniques needed to successfully determine vehicle fire causes. Each attendee will leave with a better understanding of the basic methods of determining the fire cause in the present day motor vehicle, including hybrids. Due to constantly changing designs and products used in vehicles, much information available today has little relationship with modern vehicle fire investigation. This course will give the attendee updated information and a fresh start.
